1D Community Walk
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) hosts weekly community walks to engage residents around safety issues impacting their community and collectively discuss resolutions.
Faith & Blue: 3K Unity Run & Walk (Seventh District)
3K Unity Walk & Run where the community, law enforcement and local houses of faith will gather to run, walk and engage with one another.
** Will close with a performance by the Side by Side band. ** Badger Bear will start the run / walk with participants.
Faith & Blue: Officer & Community Luncheon (Sixth District)
The luncheon is being hosted by the Southeast (SE) Whitehouse which is a Christian organization that operates the DC Dream Center. The luncheon is hosted by the SE Whitehouse and will be gathering over food for other local houses of faith, the community and the members to come together to fellowship.
Faith & Blue: Gospel Resource Fair (Fifth District)
MPD will partner with New Samaritan Baptist Church, Grace Covenant Church, and several other churches to host a resource fair for the community.
Faith & Blue: Fellowship & Prayer (Fourth District)
4D will join Nativity Catholic Church located 6001 13th St, NW for their 10am service on October 13th. We will share the importance of Our Police and community relationship. The members of the church will pray over the members and the 4D team will share remarks of appreciation.
Faith & Blue: Care Package Distribution (Third District)
3D Outreach will partner with Christian Tabernacle church for a care package distribution in multiple locations within the Third District.
Faith & Blue: Resource Fair for Unhoused Community Members (Second District)
MPD, Downtown Day Services Center, New York Ave Presbyterian Church and various organizations that provide homeless services.
Faith & Blue Fellowship (First District)
1D Outreach in collaboration with 6E ANC Commissioner Blackson and the Mt. Airy Baptist Church for a vibrant community event. The event will be hosted in the church's spacious green area, this event promises to be a lively gathering featuring music, a variety of small giveaways, and a selection of concession items. It will be a great opportunity for neighbors to come together, enjoy the entertainment, and connect in a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
