About DC Police Leadership Academy
The DCPLA empowers rising law enforcement leaders by using one of the most visited—and visible—cities in the world as its classroom.
The DC Police Leadership Academy is the nation’s premier leadership development program for rising law enforcement professionals. Lieutenants, captains and other supervisors in non-appointed positions graduate from the DCPLA with the insight and relationships to thrive in future leadership roles.

The academy combines seminars from leading experts on contemporary policing challenges with exclusive access to sites across the capital to create a truly unique educational experience.
