Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in the 1500 block of 10th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:56 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult female and a juvenile male suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The suspect pictured below, is identified as 26 year-old Anthony Bedney, of no fixed address. Bedney is currently wanted on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with Intent to Kill.
