Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2019, in the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 3:24 am, the two suspects approached two victims at the listed location. During this encounter, one of the suspects brandished a handgun. The suspects then fled the scene.
On Sunday, July 7, 2019, 20 year-old Dashawn Jackson, of Upper Marlboro, MD, and 20 year-old Dayshawn Garner, of Southeast, DC, were arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
