Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, June 14, 2019, in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast.
At approximately 7:25 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and assaulted the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
On Friday, June 15, 2019, 19 year-old Jordan Baker, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
