Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch announce an arrest has been made in connection with a Child Cruelty offense that occurred on Thursday, January 17, 2019, in the 400 Block of Decatur Street, Northwest.
At approximately 3:20 pm, an employee of the school physically assaulted a juvenile student.
On Thursday, January 31, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 50-year-old Jarvis Bernard Massenburg, of Bowie, MD, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Child Cruelty.
