Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, January 26, 2019, in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest.
approximately 11:19 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment by DC Fire and EMS.
