Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, in the 3900 block of South Capitol Street, Southwest.
At approximately 10:58 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim was seeking treatment an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 42-year-old Derrick Antwon Aull, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
