The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal Southeast shooting.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim in the hallway of an apartment building. The victim died at the scene.
The decedent has been identified as 28-year-old Devin Jenkins of Southeast, D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
