Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in locating suspects in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and Armed Robbery (Gun) offenses that occurred on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 3:45 am, the suspects approached the victims in an alley at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded one of the victim’s property. The victim did not comply, and a physical altercation ensued. The suspect shot the victim and the suspects then fled the scene with the victim’s property. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
