Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects in reference to a Robbery Fear and Armed Carjacking (Gun) offenses that occurred on Wednesday, June 3, 2019 and Thursday, July 4, 2019, in the following locations:
CCN 19-116-400 – 200 block of Van Buren Street, Northwest
On Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at approximately 9:30 pm, three suspects approached a victim at the listed location and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene. The suspects were described as three black males in their 20s wearing long sleeved black shirts.
CCN 19-116-430 – 1400 block of Oglethorpe Street, Northeast
On Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at approximately 10:45 pm three suspects approached an occupied vehicle at the listed location. The suspects demanded the two victims exit the vehicle. The suspects took the vehicle and fled the scene. Suspect one was described as a black male 20-30 years old wearing gray sweatpants and a black shirt, armed with a handgun. Suspect two was described as a black male 20-30 years old wearing brown pants and a white shirt. No description for suspect three. The vehicle is a 2008 GMC Sierra, grey, 2D pickup truck bearing Virginia Tag VJL9325 with a Virginia Tech sticker in the rear window, VIN 1GTEK14C28Z203912. CCN 19-116-461, 1100 block of Shepherd Street, Northeast
On Wednesday, July 3 at approximately 11:55 pm three suspects approached an occupied vehicle at the listed location. Suspect one brandished a handgun and the suspects demanded that he exit the vehicle. Suspect one assaulted the victim, took the vehicle and fled the scene. Suspects two and three fled on foot then jumped in the vehicle with suspect one.

CCN 19-116-493, 600 block of Gallatin Street, Northeast
On Thursday, July 4 at approximately 1:00 am three suspects approached a victim that had just exited his vehicle at the listed location. Suspect one brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property and told him to exit the vehicle with his 5 year old son. The victim complied. The three suspects took the vehicle and fled the scene. The suspects were described as black males in their 20s wearing dark jeans and white t-shirts. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
