Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1300 Block of H Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2019, in the 1300 block of H Street, Northwest.

At approximately 10:47 am, the suspect and the victim were involved in a physical altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.

On Thursday, July 4, 2019, 28 year-old Durrell Campbell, of Oxon Hill, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
