Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle of interest sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 6, 2019, in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 2:03 am, the victim was driving his vehicle at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was admitted to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
