*Updated with Video* Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 2200 Block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, October 3, 2019, in the 2200 block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast.

 

At approximately 1:30 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and cut the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
