Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in reference to a Burglary Two and an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Hammer) offense that occurred on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, in the 2000 block of L Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:28 pm, the suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. One of the suspects smashed the glass display case and took merchandise belonging to the establishment. An employee confronted the suspects. During the confrontation, the suspect struck the employee with a hammer. The suspects then fled the scene.
