Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announced that two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019, in the 3200 block of 14th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:21 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects then assaulted the victim. During the assault, one of the suspects brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers.
On Monday, June 24, 2019, 44 year-old Francisca Gocobachi Morcyoqui, of Northwest, DC, and 42 year-old Mauricio Mejia were arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
