Suspects Sought in a Kidnapping and Robbery (Fear) Offense: 4800 Block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division seek the public’s assistance in locating two suspects in reference to a Kidnapping and Robbery (Fear) offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in the 4800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

 

At approximately, 3:15 am, the suspects forced the victim, who is a ride share driver, into the victim’s car against his will at the listed location. The suspects then forced the victim to drive to an ATM and withdraw US currency. The suspects took the US currency then fled the scene.

 

Suspect one has been described as a Black male, with a dark complexion, in his early 20’s, 5’7-5’9” in height, mustache and long goatee, and short dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and light blue jeans.

 

Suspect two has been described as a Black male, with a light complexion, in his late 20’s, 5’6” in height, heavyset build, with short hair. He was last seen wearing light colored clothing and carrying a duffle bag.
