Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, January 24, 2020, in the 800 block of 7th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 9:50 pm, the victim and suspects were involved in a physical altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, one of the suspects brandished a knife and attempted to cut the victim. The suspects then fled the scene.
On Friday, January 24, 2020, 25 year-old Raheem Steven Sills, of Palmer Park, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). Additionally, 18 year-old Dionna Ariel Prince, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault.
