Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a Destruction of Property offense that occurred on Saturday, December 24, 2022, in the 4400 block of Benning Road, Northeast.
At approximately 5:43 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect took property then attempted to leave the establishment. An employee locked the door. The suspect brandished a handgun and fired at the door in an attempt to unlock it. The suspect then fled the scene.
