Suspect Sought in a Burglary One Offense: 200 Block of 33rd Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to a Burglary One offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the 200 block of 33rd Street, Northeast.

 

At approximately 2:17 pm, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property.  One of the occupants of the residence confronted the suspect and the suspect assaulted the occupant.  The suspect then fled the scene. 

 

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
