Suspect Sought in an Attempted Robbery Offense: 2900 Block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Attempted Robbery offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast.

 

At approximately 3:45 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished an unknown object and passed a note telling the employee not to press any alarms. The employee triggered the alarm causing the suspect to flee the scene.
