Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, July 8, 2019, in the 6300 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 9:48 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal altercation at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
