Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 4300 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, May 13, 2019, in the 4300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 9:44 am, the victim entered an establishment at the listed location. The victim took property from the establishment without making a payment. As an employee confronted the suspect, he brandished a knife then fled the scene.
