Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 2800 Block of 14th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, May 19, 2019, in the 2800 block of 14th Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 11:22 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
