Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect and vehicle in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, February 27, 2023, in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 4:22 pm, Sixth District officers responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male shooting victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The suspect and the suspect’s vehicle, described as a red 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander displaying Virginia Tags TXE 1574, were captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
