Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying three persons and two vehicles of interest sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019, in the 2600 block of Birney Place, Southeast.
At approximately 3:24 pm, gunshots were fired from a vehicle at the listed location. The vehicle and the suspects then fled the scene. A victim was struck by the gunfire and transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A second victim also sought treatment at an area hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
