Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Attempted Unarmed Carjacking offense that occurred on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, in the 200 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 12:50 pm, the suspects approached the victim as she was on her moped at the listed location. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s moped. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the scene on foot. The suspects were arrested by responding officers.
On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, and a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC were arrested and charged with Unarmed Carjacking.
