Arrests Made and a Suspect Wanted in a Burglary Two of an Establishment Offense: 1700 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary Two of an Establishment offense that occurred on Friday, April 26, 2019, in the 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 2:57 pm, four suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspects destroyed display cases, took property, and then fled the scene.

On Monday, May 6, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Major Violators Section’s Fugitive Unit arrested a 20 year-old male, of Capital Heights, MD. He has been charged with Burglary Two.

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Major Violators Section’s Fugitive Unit arrested 24 year-old Devonte Jermaine Brooks, of Southeast, DC. He has been charged with Burglary Two.

An additional suspect has been identified as 24 year-old Jamar Amako Wiggins, of Temple Hills, MD. He is currently wanted on DC Superior Court arrest warrant in reference to this offense. He can be seen in the photos below:
