Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a suspect that escaped from police custody after receiving treatment at a hospital on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the 2000 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.
On Thursday, June 20, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 36 year-old Eric McNair, of Northeast, DC in Ft. Washington, MD. In addition to the original charges he was arrested for on Thursday, June 13, 2019, McNair has been charged with escape.
