Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department Youth and Family Services Division’s Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Enticing a Minor offense that occurred on Saturday, July 6, 2019, in the 800 block of 8th Street, Northwest.
- approximately 1:44 am, the suspect attempted to entice the juvenile to engage in sexual acts in exchange for U.S. currency. The suspect was apprehended by responding by officers.
On July 6, 2019, 63 year-old Omer Taha, of Annandale, VA, was arrested and charged with Enticing a Minor.
