Arrest Made in Burglary Two and Unlawful Entry Offenses in the First District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary Two and Unlawful Entry offenses that occurred in the First District.

  • Unlawful Entry: On Sunday, June 2, 2019, in the 500 block of 6th Street, Northeast, at approximately 10:10 am, the suspect unlawfully entered private property. The suspect attempted to steal property and fled the scene. No property was obtained. CCN: 19-095-527
  • Unlawful Entry: On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in the 400 block of 11th Street, Southeast, at approximately 4:05 pm, the suspect unlawfully entered an occupied residence. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 19-101-716
  • Unlawful Entry/Destruction of Property: On Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the 700 block of North Carolina Avenue, Northeast, at approximately 7:15 am, the suspect forcibly entered an occupied residence at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 19-102-777
  • Burglary II: On Sunday, June 15, 2019, in the 500 block of E Street, Southeast, at approximately 6:10 am, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-104-141
  • Burglary II/Theft I (Stolen Auto): On Sunday, June 15, 2019, in the 400 block of 11th Street, Northeast, approximately between 2:30 pm and 5:50 pm, the suspect entered a residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 19-104-435

On Sunday, June 16, 2019, 33 year-old Romeo Anthony Cole, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with three counts of Unlawful Entry, two counts of Burglary Two, Destruction of Property and Theft One (Stolen Auto).
