Arrest Made in Burglary Two and Theft One Offenses in the Third and Fourth Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to three Burglary Two and a Theft One offense that occurred at the following locations:

Third District:

• Theft One: On Thursday, August 22, 2019, in the 1400 block of Girard Street, Northwest, at approximately 10:00 am, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-148-764.

Fourth District:

• Burglary Two: On Friday, August 23, 2019, in the 1300 block of Madison Street, Northwest, at approximately 6:00 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-149-654.
• Burglary Two: On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in the 5600 block of 14^th Street, Northwest, at approximately 3:06 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-152-001.
• Burglary Two: On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in the 1400 block of Madison Street, Northwest, at approximately 12:01 pm, the suspect forcibly entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-152-515.

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, 23 year-old Tyler Kiett of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with three counts of Burglary Two and one count of Theft One.
