Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in the 100 block of Galveston Place, Southwest.
At approximately 11:53 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 31-year-old Anthony Coleman of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun).
