Arrest Made in an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse: 5500 block 14th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit have announced an arrest has been made in an Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Thursday, August 22, 2019, in the 5500 block of 14^th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 8:40 am, the suspect approached a female victim at the listed location. The suspect physically assaulted her with the intent to commit a sexual assault.

On Thursday, August 22, 2019, 24-year old Todd Anderson, of Newark, NJ, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse.
