Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 3:30 pm, the suspect and the victim engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a box cutter and attempted to stab the victim. Members of the Second District responded to the scene and apprehended the suspect.
On Thursday, June 27, 2019, 33 year-old Reginald Guy Allen Jr., of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
