Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 2900 Block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Sunday, July 14, 2019, in the 2900 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 10:03 pm, the suspect and the victim engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a blunt object and assaulted the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Sunday, July 14, 2019, 33 year-old Sarah Dunston, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
