Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 2100 Block of O Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Friday, May 10, 2019, in the 2100 block of O Street, Northwest.

At approximately 9:32 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect then struck the victim with a piece of wood. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and refused medical treatment.

On Friday, May 10, 2019, 65 year-old Robert Morie, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Piece of Wood).
