Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 11th Street Memorial Bridge, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, on the 11th Street Memorial Bridge, Southeast.

At approximately 7:16 pm, the victim and suspect were involved in a traffic dispute at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A BB gun was recovered during the arrest of the suspect.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, 33 year-old Calvin Jerome Wyatt, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
