Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 1:20 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and cut the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim sustained a minor injury and refused medical treatment.
On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, 41 year-old Damon Pierce, of Chester, PA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
