Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in the 900 block of Mount Olivet Road, Northeast.
At approximately 4:09 am, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, 33 year-old Wayne Wonson, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
