Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the 800 block of 23rd Street, Northwest.
At approximately 4:35 pm, the suspect brandished a knife during a physical altercation with the victims at the listed location. During the altercation, the parties involved fell to the ground. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and treated the victims on the scene for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Saturday, May 4, 2019, 55 year-old Robert Eugene Gregory, of Northwest, DC was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
