Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 5000 Block of D Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, April 29, 2019, in the 5000 block of D Street, Southeast.

At approximately 4:51 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal dispute in a vehicle at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and assaulted the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. 

On Monday, April 29, 2019, 32 year-old Ronetta Dudley, of Southeast, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
