Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 300 Block of H Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, October 18, 2019, in the 300 block of H Street, Northeast.

At approximately 3:47 pm, the suspect approached the victim, who was in his vehicle, at the listed location.  The suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim.  The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Friday, October 18, 2019, 36 year-old Devine Aguilar, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
