Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1600 Block of Benning Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, July 8, 2019, in the 1600 block of Benning Road, Northeast.

 

At approximately 10:07 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

 

On Friday, July 12, 2019, 18 year-old Marcos McMillion, of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).

 

MPD seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the remaining suspect who was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
