Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Sunday, June 9, 2019, in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 3:49 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 32 year-old Adam Garrett Foster, of Prince Frederick, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
