Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, June 23, 2019, in the 700 block of 8th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 8:05 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a gun and shot at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, June 24, 2019, 26 year-old Bradley Middleton, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
