Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announces an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in the 5200 block of Eads Street, Northeast.
At approximately 9:24 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male victim, suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Saturday, December 14, 2019, 17 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
