Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, in the 2900 block of 14th Street, Northwest.
approximately 12:07 am, two individuals exchanged gunfire at the listed location. Both individuals sustained non-life threatening injuries and received medical treatment at a local hospital.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 31-year-old Lonnell Tysean Edmonds, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
This case remains under investigation.
