Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, November 30, 2019, in the 2800 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 8:35 pm, the suspect approached two victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victims. The suspect then fled the scene. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Saturday, December 28, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
