Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, July 14, 2019, in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road, Southeast.
At approximately 7:10 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Thursday, August 1, 2019, 22 year-old Tyrone Cook, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
